Tami Tomlinson

Tami, co-founder, owner, and lead educator of Living Life Now, Inc. is a Certified Ayurveda educator, Meditation and 500 hour Yoga instructor and a Health & Well-being Coach.  She studied Ayurveda, Meditation, and Yoga at the Chopra Center for Wellbeing in Carlsbad, California, and The American Yoga Academy in Summit, New Jersey, respectively.  She is also a graduate of the Spencer Institute as a Brain Fitness Coach.

Tami is life-long learner; seeking ways to grow and learn.  She is passionate about living life with gratitude and maintaining a healthier lifestyle. She was born in 1967 with a genetic illness, Cystic Fibrosis.  As a senior in high school, she was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis Related Diabetes (CFRD).  Of which was discovered a few years after her projected life expectancy age of fifteen. 

Growing older, Tami understood the test of time, especially when living with a genetic illness for which there is no cure.  Tami has always been an advocate for her own health.  As a result, she sought out integrative methods to learn how to live her healthiest life.  Her first step towards expanding beyond Western medicine took her to acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.   Later she was introduced to Perfect Health, a book by Deepak Chopra, M.D., and ultimately landed in Carlsbad, California at the Chopra Center for Wellbeing.  Tami traveled with her husband, Zane, a dozen times, including certification weeks, to study at the feet of Deepak Chopra.  She has also studied and been certified in Wellness and Holistic Life Coaching and is also a Brain Fitness Coach through the Spencer Institute.  

Tami trains with her rescue pup, Riley, and teaches Canine Chakra Yoga (yoga for dogs) and Canine Chakras.  She is also a Canine Good Citizen/ Trick's Evaluator with the AKC as well as a FIT DOG instructor.  Additionally, she is currently working on a Canine Chakra Yoga book, for the dogs in our lives. 

Tami is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, B.A. with a double major in Legal Studies and Criminal Justice.  She is a native Floridian where she resides with her husband, Zane, and their pup, Riley.

Hello!  I'm Riley, a Dachsador (Dachshund / Lab Mix), Yes, that is a thing and No, my mom wasn’t looking for my mix but she found my sweet puppy dog eyes saying “Here I am, come pick me up” {see photo}.  It was love at first sight!  First when my mom saw me online at the shelter and then again when I met her & dad!  Once I made it to my new home, Mom found this amazing dog trainer, Diane Whitney of Canine Brains & Games, LLC.  It was a match made from heaven, me with Mom & dad and then with Diane.  I was four months old when we met and have since continually trained with Diane.  She has been able to guide my mom well by teaching only force-free, positive reinforcement when we train.  We have attended over 20 different classes through the years; Obedience, Scent Work, Tricks, Agility, and Rally, to name a few.  I have earned five AKC Titles - Canine Good Citizen (CGC), CGCA (Advanced), and CGCU (Urban) as well as two Tricks titles (Novice & Intermediate). 

I especially love when we get to teach my canine friends how we do Doga (Yoga), with massage, relaxation, and Chakra balancing (which is my favorite!).  I need to be mindful of my exercise so I don’t injure my Dachshund-shaped body.  Mom tells me this can be an issue if we are not careful which is one reason I enjoy our yoga sessions and walks.  They help keep me fit and strengthen my muscles.
